yea, my front disco driveshaft was the 2nd one that was dropped off that day.
so i think thay have done this before. i told tham to replace all the ujoints. with one's that
have grease fittings. even replace the one that already has a grease fitting and rebalance the
shaft. that have my number but no call today from them.
i did'nt tell them that serveral people on the land rover forum will be watching and waiting.

Raid13, did they give you a total for parts and labor when you dropped off the drive shaft?

i have a close friend that is sponsered my coast driveline and gear and no i have not ben given
a total parts and labor cost yet but as soon as i get one, or it is finish i will let everyone know.
and yes i will provide some pictures too.

ok got the drive shaft back from coast driveline and gear
total was 190 but every drive shaft may not be this price
depending on damage or worn out parts i guess.
here are some pictures of before and after install.

Hey, raid13, so total for a rebalanced drive shaft and three greasable u-joints was $190? That sounds reasonable.

yes, anti next trip out to the hardwear store i will take your advice and
buy the low profile grease fittings and adaptior for the grease gun, thanks
