hold on here... bank 1 sensor 1 is not the drivers side, its top sensor on the pass side. also, are you sure the first code was the heater circuit? if not, then you most likley will need a new cat on the pass side, which will be covered under your emmisions warranty. and even if it did throw first, take it into the dealership, theyll replace the cat based on the other code, and maybe the sensor too if youre lucky

ok i'm lost. I think i will try socalrover84 reconmmendation and switch the two senors to see if i get an error code on the opposite side.  That seems like the best option, that way i should know if it's the senor or the cat.  If it's the cat, then i'll just take it in.
