Hey guys, I took a rare drive on the interstate today and I noticed that when I put the cruise control on it fades to a slower speed after a while. I started at 70 MPH and it faded to 62ish after about 5 minutes. Even when I started at 65 it still faded. I dont use the cruise very often, but last time it worked fine. Obviously it would be nice for this not to happen. So what could this be?

Thanks!
Cameron.

Check all the vacuum hoses for a leak, that is the biggest cause for the cruise not setting.

SO even if it sets for a while there could still be a leak? Because I can feel it catch, but them after a bit it starts to go down in MPH. If so, where are the hoses so I can check it?

The cruise unit is located next to the coolant bottle follow the lines to the controller. It is possible the unit itself can't hold the vacuum. Good Luck

Ditto on the vacuum leaks.
They're black rubber hoses (1/4 in. or so)
