I finally bit the bullet.  Tomorrow I get new General Grabber AT2 255/70-16 tires put on my new 16" rims (replaced my 18" rims).  I also ordered the SLS 2" spacers, OME HD coils for the front and OME firm shocks.

I'm afraid to go home.

Lucky bastard. My wife was AT THE TIRE STORE with me when the guy walks in and tells me I have a nail in my sidewall and need to replace all four tires...and it will cost $900. I thought she was gonna sh** a white blackbird.

Can anyone explain to me why $900 in tires means that they get to go out and spend $900 in clothes and shoes? It's not like I wanted new tires that day

Dave

The explanation is that there is no explanation. Good news is that you are learning....

Yup. But after 17 years I'm still one step ahead of her.  She hasn't figured out that 1 Aviation Unit = $1000. How much was that new GPS for the panel, Dave? Uhh...only 7 AUs.

If anyone wants the secret to never being expected to empty a litter box again, I'll share that one over a beer.

Dave
