Mike, check this out, your part of Colorado isn't far from New Mexico.

For those of us in the west texas/southwest new mexico area, there is a site that has been around for a little while that a lot of car club presidents and other officials have set up. www.tnmccc.com (texas new mexico council of car clubs) i don't know how often they update it, but it has some great information coming straight from the horse's mouth. there is a show in alamogordo, new mexico in a few weeks i plan to go to. it includes a poker run in the mountains of cloudcroft, new mexico

before i moved, i was a memebr of the TRCCC which was a HUGE group of car clubs...its great for the summers when i wasnt racing all the time, and i could cruise to some shows...
