Good question socalr3. I'll check it out after Monday and post a reply.. The LR3 is up on jack stands right now and I don't want to be climbing around in it at the moment.

We were out on a trail Saturday and lost a tire. The spare, as it turned out, was a doughnut spare and only lasted about a mile before it blew out. Luckily there was another LR3 in the group and we made it home on his full sized spare. We're all trying to figure out why one LR3 had a full-size wheel and spare and the other did not. Luckily there was a dealer rep with us who was already on the phone and checking it out as we drove back to the city.

Easy question to answer:
The other LR3 had a full sized spare because it had the Heavy Duty Package. Pkg comes with a rear locking diff, and a full sized spare.

just fitted one of these rr blue tooth units to my 2006 sport took aprox half hour to fit and 3 hours to get the steering wheel off
the only bolts or screws on these motors to do this job are 4 on radio 2 on hazard lights surround 4 on aircon unit controls one on steerin wheel one behind air bag sign on the door pillar every thing else just pulls off wirings comonsence exept took me ten minutes to figerout that the blue wires were to take place on cigar lighter
would of been easy to take wheel off if ide of had a slim piece of steel to go through hole in the wheel sides with a grove in to hook on the springs an pull i use a fashioned coat hanger described on this forum but took me ages to hook it keeped bending as you have to pull quite hard <was like fishing the bleeder kept getting off>
all works fine
