ORIGINAL: HerbD Good question socalr3. I'll check it out after Monday and post a reply.. The LR3 is up on jack stands right now and I don't want to be climbing around in it at the moment. We were out on a trail Saturday and lost a tire. The spare, as it turned out, was a doughnut spare and only lasted about a mile before it blew out. Luckily there was another LR3 in the group and we made it home on his full sized spare. We're all trying to figure out why one LR3 had a full-size wheel and spare and the other did not. Luckily there was a dealer rep with us who was already on the phone and checking it out as we drove back to the city. Easy question to answer: The other LR3 had a full sized spare because it had the Heavy Duty Package. Pkg comes with a rear locking diff, and a full sized spare. /DA
