Wheel with bad rust - 3/22/2008 8:52:14 PM    schultze5100   Posts: 51 Joined: 3/13/2008 Status: offline I had a break pad issue that turned into a wheel issue, this has caused my rim to totaly rust, does anyone have an idea on how to get rust off these wheels without ruining the wheel its self? _____________________________ 99 Disco II Post #: 1

If you wheels are stained, might want to clean it with a liquid rust remover then re-wax the wheel because the rust remover will take some of the protective finish off. _____________________________ Mike Retired service manager. It will take a pretty harsh rust remover to remove the stain and as long as you clean and then wax your wheels afterwards, you'r be fine. _____________________________ Mike Retired service manager.
