Hi Everyone. Need to load a lot of gear on my 93 Vogue Rangie's roof for an outback tour. I have full size roof rack but have been told that the max weight the Rangie can take is only 75Kg. Seems pretty low for so capable a vehicle. Anyone know if this is correct?

150 pounds is about it, along with the weight of the rack, you can really get top heavy and roll.

Thanks Mike. Other than the rolling problem is there any "crushing" effect on the car. I'll be traveling across pretty remote areas and want to put 2 extra spare tires, spare water and fuel on top. Most of the country is desert/scrub and need to be self reliant.
