1963 RHD Land Rover 4wd project car. I'm getting too old to work on it. Used in Malawi, it was shipped to the US in 1968, broke the countershaft in the transmission, and then was bought by me. Working on it part time, I got it converted and running in 1974. I drove it for 6 years having a ball.
The conversion includes an Olds 350 V-8, Turbo 400 transmission (shifts with original Rover floor shift lever), Dana Spicer M-18 transfer case with tapered roller bearing intermediate shaft. Has 6 cyl 109 brakes. (3"x 11" if I recall correctly.)
It needs both front wings with headlights mounted on the wing fronts, grille, bonnet, custom radiator. Power steering conversion commenced (The right wing will have to be cut out on its front, and boxed. All brake  hydraulics must be replaced, but I have them: honest factory parts that cost me around $500.00. The master cylinder is for LHD 6 cyl., and will have to be converted to RHD. It's kind of  rough, but some TLC will work wonders. Includes tow bar. Photographs available on request.
$2300. pick up only.
