im having issues with my gauge.I drive the car for like 30 mins and i notice the gauge moving over towards the red and slowly back to the normal point.the car doesn't seem to be over heating.i replaced the expansion tank, radiator and thermostat.I really think its a false reading from the coolant temp gauge.ANY SUGGESTIONS IF I SHOULD REPLACE THE COOLANT TEMP GAUGE? 2003 RANGE ROVER

You might want to be a bit more patient...6 minutes and you bump it up? Probably a bad coolant temp sender..not the gauge. How are you sure it's not overheating?

Have you bled the system well, are your electric fans working?
