Well, I finally made the leap of faith and bought myself a 1999 Land Rover Disco Series II - Fire Engine Red (not burgundy). It had around 105k miles, and I talked the fellow down to 5,600 (pretty good deal, I thought). It's been very well maintained and I hope to have many lasting memories with my new faithful adventurer companion!
