My window is stuck down wondering if anyone has any sugggestions, there is noise when i press the button " i'm assuming the motor still works" but no movment, i've taken off door panel to see any obvious signs but none i can see, what should i check before purchasing a regulator?

You have a broken window regulator.
How mechanical are you?

or you can take it to a weld shop and have them reweld it for you with a much stronger weld than those 3 little spot welds. however i would check the rolling plastic wheels to see if they are rolling freely or if they are broken. whatever you do just remember to clean your window when your done before you roll it down again. the grease or dirt whatever on the window will make it get stuck on the rubber trim and then that will damage your regulator. get some powder like chalk or something and sprinkle some on the inside of that rubber trim to give your window a nice slippery dry surface to roll down on.
