Seeing anyone can help me fix my window? The window is droped all the way down and wont come back up it makes noise when pressing the switch " i think the motor still works" i've taken the door panel off to see if there is any obvious sign but no luck, is there anything i can do or check before purchasing a regulator

The track may have broken. It is spot welded and the welds can break. There is a post from 2? days ago with a tip on fixing your window, look for it.

Ask all you want. There is a little wheel that rolls under the window at the end of the arm that makes the window go up or down and if it brakes the arm will slip off and the window will fall down. Window motor will work but not the window as the arm is not under it.

If you want to save a little money and are pretty mechanical, go to , http://www.roverlandparts.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWCATS&Category=411 and buy a good guaranteed window regulator and save.

On your first go around, expect it to take around 45mins. to replace your window regulator. The job is not hard and requires simple hand tools, but it takes some finagling to get the regulator out and the new one back in. Having someone there to hold the window is crucial. I recently did mine, so feel free to PM me with your questions.
