When I lock the disco I still get the 3 flashes of the indecator lights... But now for some reason when I lock the disco now, they don't do a steady flash like they used to... What should I be looking for here?

I agree, check and clean your battery connections then go have your battery and alternator tested at your local auto parts store.

Here is some info on the alarm system for the D1:

And the DII:

The above replies are correct, sounds like a low battery in the remote...

d1, but the alt is a year old, and the battery is only two... I'll clean the connections and report back.

no need to touch the car battery. change the battery in the remote.

quote:

- Low Remote Battery Indicator - A counter in the remote, tracks remote activity. (Estimated usage for one year), the hazard lamps will flash once on system arming, indicating remote battery replacement is required. To reset the remote, remove the battery, push the button and replace battery.

Fixed the issue, the battery holder in the remote... Well one of the solder points broke, apparently it was sending a singnal strong enough to unlock the truck, but not good enough to do something having to do with the marker lights. Fixed the solder point and the lights now work when you unlock the truck...
