when i bought my LR3 last fall used their was a wied wear sopt on the top of the
steering wheel lookes like it got HOT. reminds me of a dash in FL that got hot but it is just a spot about 3" long and 1" wide.
anyone else get this? any ideas?
the dealer said they will replace it under the warrantee
but it seems wierd especially such a small area on the top of the steering wheel about 1:00.
thoughts?

Yeah I have the same spot on my wheel.  I was wondering if the dealer would replace it under warranty.

I have a similar spot.  Its on the top of wheel on the side facing the windshield.  You can't really see it because of where it is, but you can definately feel it.

Let us know if you have any success getting a warranty repair.

Not sure I am going to let the dealer replace mine. Seems like an opportunity for them to mess something up.

I might just get a cover.

Did they repolace it with the a new version of original steering wheel?  I heard they might be using the cheaper and thinner LR2 wheels.
