Having same issue with my ''05 steering wheel. We''ll see what they will do even thought its out of warranty. Taking it in for a back hatch that won''t open. As to earlier question about battery life...replaced mine earlier this year after starting to experience some strange elctrical anomolies. Multiple warnings that didn''t all fit together, but tied back to battery power.
