Diesel is almost $5.00 at some stations here. It is costing me around $80.00 to fill up the tank. I'm certainly not rich enough to buy the gas station but I did have enough to buy the 57k SUV in the first place, right? I don't see where $80 per fill up is gonna make me drive the 89 civic, nor sell/trade the truck, nor take public transportation, nor take rentals for long trips. Heck, I bought it for long trips in the first place. If you spend the money to buy a top of the line SUV in the first place, KNOWING before hand that they don't exactly top the fuel efficiency chart, and now want to complain about the gas prices and the mileage, you got bigger issues at hand, I think.
