My power driver's seat of my 96 Disco 1 will move in every direction BUT back.  Right now, I'm closer to the steering wheel than my grandmother and need to get it back.  Because it moves in every direction BUT back, it makes me think its a connection and not a motor.  I took the plate out and wiggled the connections, but nothing fixed it.

Any ideas,
Thanks
Shamus

Check and clean the seat switch first.

Carefully remove the switches and pull them apart. Wipe the contact areas clean, you may have to bend a contact up. Just be careful. You may want to take the switch out and clean it on the kitchen table in case parts fall out..
