BG 44k Fuel Additive Question - 4/22/2008 3:28:09 PM    dms98e   Posts: 78 Joined: 2/21/2008 Status: offline I ordered and recieved 2 cans of BG 44k Fuel Additive and 4 bottles of Redline SI-1 Fuel System Cleaner.  I was thinking about adding the BG 44k every 5000 miles and using the Redline cleaner in between.  Is this too much or too often?  Does anyone have any other suggestions that have used these products?  Drew Post #: 1

I would start with an induction cleaning, throw a 44K in the tank with hi octane and drive for a few hours. 1 can of 44K is good yearly up to 15,000 miles, and 1 can of the other stuff in between, other wise it is over kill. _____________________________ Mike Retired service manager. RE: BG 44k Fuel Additive Question - 4/22/2008 4:27:09 PM    dms98e   Posts: 78 Joined: 2/21/2008 Status: offline Thanks for the info Mike.  I don't drive much, a tank lasts me a week and a half.  i'll do the induction cleaning this weekend and use the Redline cleaner each fill up.  Would you suggest adding the 44K in an almost empty tank then filling up, or does it make much difference?
