Hi I have a 2003 LR diso 80 k

I reacently broke my drive shaft at 70 mph due to a bad u joint installment ....seems that after some checking I had some damage in my transfer case. I had it fixed at a local shop .

I just got my car back today and after some driving it still has a very slight vibration at 5000 rpm. will these be a problem ?

Shop told me that the DS failure was due to some play in the transfer case , drive shaft union ( front ) and not to the U joints but any way My Differential lock light is on and will not come off. I heard that driving in reverse  will unwind the transmission but Nothing.

SRS light is also on and has been for a while now ...

Any pointers please.?

If there is no external t/case damage then your vibration is most likely because of a slightly damaged t/case fork where the drive shaft is attached, assuming your new drive shaft is balanced properly.
Don't worry about driving in reverse to turn off your diff lock light, cause your 03 doesn't have a diff lock anyway. Not sure where to point you though to get it fixed.
Need to get your SRS system scanned with a good laptop type scanner to find out what is wrong with it.

Truck seems to be runnig OK. I turned tightly both ways and it doesnt feel like the front and rear tires are runing at the same speed or forced in any way.

Work shop is also lost here ( no scanner ) the only deasent scanner in Mecico is at LR workshop and a diagnosis is 150 us just to get in.

any way It then sounds like something electrical right?

Like I said, you don't have a CDL so you can't be locked up.

Sorry If I ask again but the owners manual book indicates that if the Light remains on GO TO THE DEALER and that in Mexico ( more than anywere else ) means You are going to get ripped of.

So I asume there is no danger on driving arround with the light On right?

What happens if you go turn tight circles out on the pavement, any lurching feeling in the steering wheel?

Nothing really ....no lurching feeling ..... I jacked it up and rear weels turn faster than the front ones ( Not at the same speed )

Yust that light on all the time.
Also that slight vibration at over 5000 rpm.

Is there any danger in any of these?
