I recently took our Disco to the car was and towards the end of the run, I had a steady drip of soapy water flowing from the passenger side dash (underneath). It was a total of about a cup of water but I found water no where else i.e; glove box, drivers side etc.
When it rains, it does not do this. Anyone else have these issues?

Could have a leak from your windshield, wouldn't know for sure until you check it.

Window seal appeared solid but not totally ruled out. Searched the site for related topics, found the hairline crack in the firewall thread from January. Pulled out the flashlights and extendable disk mirror... Cracked firewall.... Bingo. Any ideas what could cause a hairline crack?

A crack in the firewall? Man that sucks, all I can imagine is poor workmanship. Can you fix it with JB Weld or something?
It might be fine as long as you stay out of the carwash. The high pressure water probaly forces it through and thats why it dosent do it in the rain.

Yep, cracked. I've seen a few other posts from fellow 04 owners so maybe its a design flaw for that year? I also fully inspected the window seal and think its also done for. Its all good. Glad I found it early on.
