'03 Disco with 49k.

I only received one key when I purchased the vehicle.

What can I expect to pay for an additional key and programming at the dealership?

Is there any trustworthy place online (aside from eBay) where I can pick one up and save some coin?  Will the LR dealership make and program a key that didn't come from their back room?

Thanks.

They're actually not that bad, well compared to some. My last one was around a buck fifty out the door.

Are you talking about a FOB or just a blank key?

I was talking about the entire key. By a buck fifty I meant $150.00. From the dealer.

That is about the going cost. You could buy a new key fob off of E-Bay for around $50 but you still have to pay the dealer, so just get it over with.

Dealer in Winnipeg told me $219.00 for the key and $100.00 to program it. I would still need to take it to a locksmith to get it cut,as they don't do that either!

WOW! That's crazy. Don't loose both keys then, that would be really expensive. I loose keys more often than I'd like to admit and I've always just called it in and they had new ones ready or / ordered. I just assumed they cut them by VIN or something as I have never had to give my key for them to copy.
