Greetings from Maine... I have a 98 RR 4.0 that I'm looking to buy.  The fella that owns it said it had a coolant leak in the head and he pulled the heads, had them tested and surfaced and put it all back together.  The motor runs great.  The problem is that he disconnected the electronics and now the transmission won't shift through the gears as it should.  He said prior to his fixing the heads the truck shifted fine with no issues.  Is it possible that since the electronics were disconnected that the truck would now not shift correctly?  The truck will shift into reverse, first gear, but when its in drive it stays in third gear.  Any ideas would be great.  Thanks so much....
