I was looking at purchasing some Magnacor wires from Rover Connection. They mention that replacing the intake manifold gasket may be required. I do not believe that I have secondary air...but I must admit that it looks like fitting the new wires looks like it may be quite the challenge unless you have below average sized hands... Anyhow, I guess what I was wondering is--Do you typically end up having to remove the intake manifold to change the wires or no? If so, it looks like I'll be grabbing an intake gasket along with the wires...if not, I'll save my money. thanks.

I did mine (with SAI) and did not have to renove IM, so it is possible. Its tight but it can be done.

What year is your truck, how many miles on it and do you have secondary air? You can replace the wires if you are mechanically inclined and want to save hundreds of dollars in labor. Do you valve cover leak?
