Hi there, new to the forums.  I have a 98 land rover discovery that is acting up.  The tempature shows it wanting to over heat over 2500rpms, where as its fine anything below that.  I repleaced the thermostat a few months ago, and the resouvir seems to be at a normal level.  It just had its service pack, and everything checked out.  I really dont want to take back in for this, if its something I can fix.  Let me know what you think..............

How many miles on your truck?
Is your electric fan running, how about your mechanical fan?

Both cooling fans seem to be working fine, I can hear them click on and rev the engine at normal tempature and both seems to running strong.  The milage is right at 87,000 miles.  Any suggestions....

Are you sure you bled all the air from the coolant system?
Top off the coolant bottle to the very top.
Also if it still over heats, then get a coolant pressure test done.
