sorry, the year is 2003, don't know what the code was, he just told me it was the purge valve code, and made the light go out. is this something i need to worry about? or should i just get it changed, also what do you think about a remote start? they sure spoil you, but i don't want to ruin or hurt my new rover in anyway. but we live in salina kansas, and the closest land rover dealer is about a 4 hour drive away, so i need to find the parts i can online and have my brother do the work. i can't even find the windshield wipers in town, and there are so many choices, do they come in left side right side, and what size and brand, is one better then the other? sorry for so many questions? but i sure could use your help. thanks

i would need to know the engine fault code before i could tell what to do, or check.
you could change the purge valve if you had to, its easy. but it may not be failed.
the land rover part number for the wiper blades is DKC000040 (same both sides)
put that part number in a google serch and see what online store will ship to you.
and remote starter advice i say a big NO on that.
before you go out of warranty at 50,000 have the dealer check it fully
pay for a hour of inspection if you have to. check the front differential to drive
shaft spline for abnormal wear.
