Also, when purging the air from the system, do it when the engine is cold, fill the coolant bottle, with the bleeder screw removed, till coolant comes from the bleed screw, replace the bleed screw then the coolant cap, then start the engine, let it warm up with the heaters both set at full hot. That should take care of the issue. I agree with Roverguy about switching the hose, but don't like doing it cause there is too much change of damage to the hose, cause they are old or the heater core pipe.
