Which would you say is a better buy?

1. An '01 Disco II SD, *Certified* with warranty, and with 74K miles from a LR Dealer...

or...

2. An 02' Disco II SD, with 45K miles from another dealer who specialized in high-end vehicles.

or...

3. A 2000 Series II, 41K miles, Bentley dealership. $1,000 less than the other two.

...all vehicles have clean titles, and full service histories kept accurately.

There is no price difference between the two.

Any input here would be great. Thanks!

thats a tough call. you have the two with pretty low milage, and then theres the one with nearly double the milage, but includes the warranty. if you're not much of a do-it-yourselfer i would probably recomend the first one. but if you can follow directions and know your way around a vehicle, you could probably fare well with the other two, if you do go for #2 or #3 i would go #2. slightly less milage and price.

im sure you'll have a blast with all three. good luck.

edit: i meant #3 over #2, sorry.

Check wear and tear under the trucks, rust, leaks.
See if you can get a warranty on the other two and how much it will cost.
Do they have the same setup.
Has one be cleaned up alittle to much, under the hood?
Take off the oil cap look in side.
Was one used to tow trailers.
Then make your best deal and tell the dealer what your doing.
Sometime you can get just what you want and now is the time
most people are buying cars for mpg not SUV's this is the time
to buy a SUV buyers are calling the shots.
Will you keep a long time? If so then more miles now will not hurt the
resale.
Good Luck you have to live with it make yourself happy.
Dam the torpedoes full speed ahead.
What I was going to say was give the used car sales men pay back for all of us.

I almost forgot check the Disco's cold have the sales person start it
see if it smokes on start-up 10 to 15 seconds no more.
Have the hood up how does it sound? You know what it should sound like.
