first off, my reverse seems to work fine but my first gear just whines and doesnt go anywhere, for more info check here.

seeing as i probably need a new tranny and a new(?) ZF auto from RN is just over $5000 (i dont even want to know what a dealer would charge) im thinking doing a manual conversion wouldnt be such a bad choice, seeing how i prefer them anyway and i found one for about $1070 after shipping.

if you could help me out a bit on what parts i would need (pedal assebly, cables, flywheel?), i would be most gratful.

thank you.

yeah ive got most of those, though the metric system ****ing pwns the homo english system

****ing retarded american inability to accept change!

now that we're off topic...i just read a tech letter in Four Wheeler regarding the swap in a '97 F150. there was some crap about needing the drive shafts and the TC (being the big ones that i wouldnt expect) im going to do a little more research, maybe make a call to RN or something.
