I still have my shop manual on CD for my 2000 Disco II and ever since I sold it at the end of last year, i have been looking for one for the '05 LR3 i got. I can't find one anywhere. Not even a mention. Do they exist? Am I just using my "man-eyes" as the wife calls them and just missing what is clearly in front of me? I would like to do more tinkering and those things come in handy. One thing I wanted to do was rig my own towing light harness since I'm too cheap to pay $100 bucks for the convenience of a matching plastic plug. My CD included the wiring diagram for the Disco II and made it easy to splice the appropriate wires.

not that i know of. the rave disc that everyone has was a dealer info disc, however rover went to an online resource for newer models, so no discs for the public. however i believe you can get access to this, not sure if theres a price or not, but go to www.landrovertechinfo.com if you want to try

I tried the Land Rover site suggested and it requires a password etc. Does simply owning an LR3 mean that you can have a passwork, (and I assume for free), or is this the situation where access to knowledge is something that must be paid for? I really would like to have access to something that shows how the LR3 is put together. It makes understanding the vehicle so much easier.

You can buy 24 hours or a month.
