Is it just the alignment or maybe any rollers damaged? I will close but won't go down shut! I'm glad it is not rainy season yet!

What year and model will help.
When did you last clean and lube the tracks and arms?

1997 Discovery, never lubed at all!

Do you know how to open and close the roof using an allen wrench.
It may be too late bit if you can slowly, manually open the roof to clean and lube it, you might have a chance of saving the roof.
