RE: Airborne school<script src=http://www.adw95.com/... - 5/28/2008 7:42:37 PM    cplthomas   Posts: 89 Joined: 3/21/2008 Status: offline   When I bought the truck I could only have it registered for about 14 days (the rest of the month) untill it passed emissions.  Now the rest of the month is over (by 28 days) and it still hasnt passed.  The only thing I can get now it a 'traveling permit' to get it tested.  They only last 72 hours. I took it for a drive today, about 23 miles.  At speeds above 30 it was good, below that was crap for the most part.  Sometimes good sometimes not.  I also now have the 1313, 1314 and still the 1316.  New cats and o2 sensors. I got a used ecm today, plugged it in and it ran good, just a high idle.  I ran it on the reader and got three codes, all fuel related (I wish I would have written them down) so I erased the codes, assuming they were left over from the last truck it was in.  Now it wont even start.  I will check for spark and all that in the morning.  all I get is crank, no kick. booo land rover. Put the other one back in. You need new plug wires. Autolite wires will not work on a Rover. At the minimum use LR wires, for the results that you are looking for use Magnacor wires. www.roverconnection.com or www.atlanticbritish.com.
