I'm in the process of installing my Warn winch and I'm planning on putting my solenoid box behind the battery where the jack currently is.

Does anyone have a creative location for the bottle jack?

Can you put your winch solenoid somewhere else?

Will you be installing dual batteries for the extra draw for your winch, if so, this is not a good place.
Wherever you put it make sure it gets alot of air across it so it won't fail on you out on the trail.

I've been thinking about that...but where?  There's no room between the radiator and grill.  The rest of the engine compartment is tight.

But since Mike mentioned the need to keep the solenoids cool, I might have to revisit the idea.
