The exterior mirrors are out of position - driver side extended -passenger side folded in.  My interpretation of the instructions to re-synchronise them is to press the mirror fold button once and then press it again to re-synchronise them.  This doesn't work or at least hasn't worked yet.  No doubt this is my fault.  Can anyone help.  Thank you.

I've had this issue on an 08 twice - dealer did something with memory synchronization settings but I don't know what.  I couldn't figure it out.  Fortunately you also are under warranty...

two things to try, first off, manually fold the one that is out in, so they match, then hit the button. if that doesnt work, do it again, but then disconnect the battery for about 5 minutes and hook it back up, and then hit the switch, should fix it for ya

No - not on our 06 Sport either, only the HSE''s.
