Hi I am a Norwegian biology student planning an expedition to the South American continent. The plan is to start out in Brazil and then successively visit Argentina, Chile, Peru and Ecuador. This might be a bit rude but I would really appreciate if some of you much more experienced Land Rover enthusiasts out there could help me answering some questions connected to the availability of Land Rover cars in Brazil. 1. Is it easy to purchase a Land Rover Defender in Brazil, i.e., are there many cars available on the marked (both used and new)? 2. How much do a Land Rover Defender (approximately) cost in Brazil (or in any other country in South America)? 3. Is it troublesome to cross nation boundaries in South America with a Land Rover (or any other car for that matter)? Any good advice (dos & don''ts) when driving a Land Rover in South America will of course be highly appreciated! Thanks
