nope, i havent changed the fuel filter yet. that is the next thing i will do on my list as well as the plug and wires. i was trying to get in touch with the previous owner earlier to know which parts he changed before i got the trk but i couldnt get a hold of him

The fuel filter isint hard to get to, but it is a pain to remove because the fittings rust and will not come apart. I change my fuel filter once a year and I coat the threads with anti-seize.
The only reason that I change it once a year is because of the threads rusting.

i need to do this myself for the experience so... (ehermmmm) could you er tell me exactly where the fuel filter is and how to get to it??

It is behind the rear pass wheel bolted to the frame. Spray the fittings with your favorite pen/lube and spray them eveey day for two days before changing it.
