i have a 98 range rover 4.6 hse, automatic trans. for some time i have been hearing what appears to be a groaning noise from beneath the vehicle.. have had several mechanics check beneath the vehicle..nothing has been found , has anyone else had this problem

Check the diff''s, t/case and tranny fluid levels.
When do you hear it, cold, hot in or out of gear?
