Hello - we just installed the DVD Systems that Land Rover sells from Rosen (Part #YIP500360) with the install kit made for the 2005 Range Rover Part (#VUB503722). The problem is - we cannot see the DVD play on the front touchscreen at all. Not in park, not with the parking break up, nothing. Any insight? Any way we can hack into this and unlock it? Is it even possible for the DVD to play on the front touch screen? All we can see is AUX on the front screen.

One person told me "It''s not intended to display there. You can get an aftermarket router so it does, but then you''d need a video input for your Nav screen as well. All together, the parts necessary will be $2000 if you want to do that."

What about the TV option that the car comes with? Doesn''t that mean there is a Video input in the touchscreen?

The dvd system on this model year RR was not intended to play on the front screen, even in park. Some sort of US market liability issue. There is however a way to make it work! Only one wire. Thats all I can say. Good luck!
