Does anyone know where I can find step by step instructions and a parts list needed to mount a CB antenna on my rear tire carrier? I understand that this is the best place for it but I need a lot of guidance. As my user name suggests, I''m new to this game. Thanks in advance for your help. Steve 2004 Disco SE7

The best mounting place for the antenna is a roof mount like a Wilson 1000 that can take advantage if the solid steel roof for improved signal strength. The next best, and very popular spot is from the spare. There are a number of after market mounts available thru the cb or Radio Shack type stores. Once mounted to the carrier and depending on the type of distance and country you want to talk over the a 3 or 4 foot Firestick antenna with a quick disconnect would be best. If you want some installation ideas, PM me your tele number and I will be glad to help.
