Hello to all!

I''ve been reading this forum for quite sometime, so I''ve finally decided to sign up. I have a very stock 1997 Discovery. I''m planning to put a lift kit on it, wheels and bigger tires, a cb radio, a rack, jump seats... and i think that''s it for now. oh and i also need to fix that annoying shift tape/film on the shift indicator assembly.

im hoping i could learn a lot from working on the Disco and share it with everyone (along with very detailed pictures.)

i''m 27 years old, been in the U.S. Navy for 10 years as a Helicopter Mechanic, but I''m a total newbie when it comes to cars. it might sound stupid to some of you, but i''m just being honest.

well i guess that''s it! see you in the forums!
