Just replaced the coil pack on a 2001 (What fun!) - after buttoning it back up the normal idle up process it usually does with a cold start before settling down to normal idle is not functioning... Any thoughts on what may have done this? Basically now I just have to give it a little gas when starting.

Thanks!

Inspect both you throttle cables and clean the inside of the t/body. If that doesn''t fix it, get back to me.

I actually looked everything over pretty well last night and could not see anything out of the ordinary. How does this "electronic choke" of sorts work? Is there an actuator on one of those cables?(The only one I saw I assumed was for the cruise)... I did have to pull the top manifold off and did replace the gasket when putting everything back together...  I can''t think of anything else it could be besides it being electrical related..

Thanks Mike!

This morning with a cold start it seemed a little better, but not 100%..  Should I pull off the stepper-motor idle valve and give that a cleaning?
