I own a 2000 Disco series 2, and i''ve had it for about 3 months now. Its been awesome up until around 3 weeks ago. I need help soon, and don''t know what to do, or how much to expect to pay+ would just like to know what is wrong. Anyway, the main issue is that it has been slumping. It is only happening on the back, left side. The first time, I didn''t thing it was a huge deal, cause as soon as I turned to engine on, it pumped itself back up and stayed, but NOW its been happening while I''m driving, and won''t go back up! It does it every day, (while i''m parked, driving, or just sitting at a stop light, or even when its just sitting in the driveway completely off!), and now I''m starting to worry. Please tell me its not too serious, and if there''s anything I can do without spending hundreds I don''t have. THANKS!

Well, I believe it''s your Rear Air Spring leaking air basically, which, from the dealer would be very expensive. But I KNOW that there''s a spring/damper conversion available that may be a better way to go - might want to check into that. As far as I recall there''s not really a "fix" to your problem, I think you''ll be looking more along the lines of replacing unfortunately - The complete rear conversion kit would run you between $350.00 - $500.00 (depending on the shocks you choose), whereas the air spring replacement (recommended in pairs only) will run you about $150.00ea + labor. Either option isn''t THAT bad.
