I just replaced my old Goodyear Wrangler junk for some new Pirelli Scorpions. With the old tires I would feel this vibration whenever I would depress the brake, so much so I could feel it through the steering wheel. I had just attributed it to the poor wearing of the Goodyears (the inside was down to belts, third set, you know the story). I also got a 4 wheel alignment with the last set (20k miles ago), but didnt get it this time since the car pretty much drove well, aside from the vibration.

I was wondering if the vibration was coming from a poor alignment, or something else. I wanted to get a feel before I dumped more money on an alignment if its not the cause.

Appreciate any help.

David

if you only feel it during braking, your rotors are probably warped. also, did you get the alignment done at a dealer? only the dealer can properly due an alignment on those cars
