I have a 96 Disco and was thinking of making rock sliders. I have seen photos of bolt up ones that bolt directly inplace of the fiberglass panles below the doors. If I make a pair that bolt to the holes that were left behind, will they support the sliders and jacking?

When I installed the RTE sliders, the holes were drilled out to 1/2", and didn''t line-up with the existing holes from the plastic "slider". DiscoMike has a set of drawings for some sliders, try contacting him. I''ve seen them posted on here but can''t find them right now.
