I just don’t trust any ones craftsman ship those $6.75 hr lazy kids skip all kinds of stuff !  they will just change the oil and go to lunch while you sit in the lobby drinking water and looking at your clock.
That’s why I stand right their watching I want all of my $200 dollar  Royal Purple going in it and not his ride!
So yes agreed new oil filter!

Learn something new everyday. Didn''t know it was so much easier on D2. You think on a D1 it can be done without moving the cross member?

Everything else on the D1 is a lot easier than the D2 so they had to give the D2 something.

Well, Im on the fence on this one, its a well known fact that changing the oil / filter on any auto trans can actually "cause" problems afterwards as the new oil has detergent in it and it "loosens" debris which then blocks the governor valve and causes auto box issues.

Some say if it aint broke, don''''t fix it!!!........but its up to the individual to make that choice......if I was do to any auto trans service, I would just drain and refill the oil that comes out from the normal service procedure and repeat again after about 1000 miles.
