So I am cleaning my 2000 Discovery for the first time, and I can''t quite figure out what the dash board is made out of.  It seems like a really course plastic or something?  Should I be using Armor-all on that or something else?  It is really needs cleaned, but I don''t want to mess it up.

Also, the rubber pad on the console really needs cleaned also...wondering if that comes out real easy or not?

Thanks!

Any cleaner will work, I use water so I don''t pull the oils out of the platic dash and make it crack.
As for the consle, forget trying to remove the mat, use a vacuum and a bruch.
