You could convert to a HID / Xenon kit of some sort, it wouldn''t be cheap to do it right but it would obviously improve the output over
what the P38s have.

As far as side vents, there were none on the 95-02 models, as I suspect you know they started in 03 changed styles from 06 on
and are standard now on the LR, Sport and HSEs.  I''ve seen some that have been added to the P38s but they''re all an aftermarket
type, will involve modification to the side panels of course unless you just want something that''s cosmetic?

I understand the lighting issue - why would you want the vents, just for looks?

yes, the vents would be just for looks. also the hid conversion kit i have connections from my other vehicle that i converted so that would be a little cheaper. what i meant by conversions is the newer headlights are projectors. do they make those for the 2001 model? or will the new ones fit in my vehicle?

The new lights wont fit in the P38. You''d need the new lighting housing, which will require modification of the body to make room for the lights. You can search the forums on rangerovers.net as a few people have successfully modified the P38 to allow the MKIII lights to fit. It''s a decent amount of work for the results though. I''d stick to HID unless you just really want the MKIII look.

Best of luck!

I''ve seen a few P38''s with the side vents off of the RRS. They will require cutting into the fender but other then that it''s a pretty straight forward process. Haven''t seen any with the MKIII vents...

I''d check ebay or scrap yards to get the vents cheaply.

Best of luck... let us know if you go ahead with it.
