Yup, new around here. My name's Tony and I'm fairly new to the Rover community but no stranger to wheelin'. I was a real Jeep enthusiast until I decided I wanted something with more room and more comfortable(coil springs and solid axles don't hurt either). I'm in the process of building my SE-7and beatin' it up in the process too though. Wanted to stop in and say hi.

Owning a Land Rover is like dating a super model. Sure she has expenive tastes, complains a lot, and requires constant attention...

I now understand the Beatles song, "Day Tripper". Untill I understood what my Disco Landy was telling me, I did some great on road repairs. I love my 96 Disco. I also have a 90 Jag and a 74 MGBGT. I gave up on VW's to learn what a positive earth ground is along with what a dipper switch does.
I have been asked, "why do you keep it". Some day I'll get the bugs out of it and don't make jokes about my second love (my wife is the first love). I am hooked on British vehicles. My mother worked for Triumph Motorcyle many years ago and to add a Brit bike to my collection would be complete. I rode quite a few but never owned one.
All I can say is to all the newbees, understand, listen, tinker and enjoy your Brit Mobile.
