I have a question that probably every other Land Rover will know the answer to, at least i hope so.
The Intermittent stage on my windscreen wipers is not working at all, Both other wiper speeds are fine.
I have a Disco 1 1998 I am hoping it is a fuse but Ill await a response before doing anything
Thanks for your help

It could be the little black box control unti, not sure where it is located on the disco, but the defender one is located at the bottom of the fuse box.

Will ask around and see if I can find out for you

Went to the Land Rover garage here in Iceland and they said the same thing and asked me to check whether the interior light is working on a timer when opening and closing the door. The light doesnt work on this setting at all, just on and off.
They also asked me if on the other settings for the wipers, it goes back to the start when switch off which it does so it seems to confirm the part.
Seems the box over here will cost me about 100 pounds, then the fitting on top which could be quite expensive because its at the back of the fusebox.
Any diagrams or other information or confirmation would be greatly appreciated.
Went a bit into detail but maybe this information might come in useful for another forum user!!

does anyone have any more details on this issue? I have the exact same problem occuring on my '98 D1. Can someone provide me with a part name or number? Also, any ideas where I could find this part online at a decent price - as opposed to getting reamed at a dealer paying full price and then some... ;o)

any help is appreciated.

Thanks!
