I purchased an '06 RRS with PTI. I have a Blackberry 8700c and, although the Blackberry is not an "approve" RR phone, I have had success using it with the RR Bluetooth. I have experienced some of the problems identified in other posts, and have used the proposed fixes with some success.

My question is in reference to the Voice Recognition (VR) and Name Tags referenced in the Owner's Manual. The manual indicates that if you only use the Bluetooth link-up, the address book from your phone will not appear in the car's register. Fine, got that. However, it seems to say that Bluetooth users should be able to use the VR system by manually imputing names and numbers into the register. I have successfully entered in a couple of names, but I can't seem to make it work with my Blackberry at all.

What can Bluetooth users utilize in the VR system?
